Final Conference of the WINBLUE Project

On 26 June, the final conference of the #WINBLUE project – “Empowering Women and Mainstreaming Gender Equality in the Blue Economy” took place in Brussels and online, achieving great success.

It was a day full of ideas, exchange, and collaboration, bringing together project partners, including representatives from VEDA (Varna Economic Development Agency), as well as experts and institutions committed to making the blue economy more inclusive, sustainable, and gender-equal.

During the conference, the following topics were addressed:
Data and research on gender equality dynamics in the maritime sectors
Inspiring best practices collected across Europe
Practical tools developed within the WINBLUE project – from gender equality plans to training and coaching resources
Future opportunities for collaboration through a strong and expanding network
