A meeting was held on March 26, 2021 under the project BSB 136 ITM BEE-BSB – INCREASING TRADE AND MODERNIZATION OF BEEKEEPING AND RELATED SECTORS IN THE BLACK SEA REGION, with the support of SOP “20-20” Black Sea. The event is part of a series of meetings, conduct by the ITM BEE-BSB project partners from Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine with representatives of various organizations, institutions and universities to facilitate the exchange of information and to identify needs and trends in apiculture and bee-keeping production.

The meeting was organized virtually through the Google Meet platform by Varna Economic Development Agency in partnership with the University of Economics-Varna and Varna Territorial Office of the National Agricultural Advisory Service. Its purpose was to present new aspects of the Integrated Approach for management and financing of bee farms. There were 34 participants – representatives of beekeepers and beekeeping organizations, university professors and students, non-governmental and business organizations, governmental institutions, media.
