Youth Action for Regional Coherence and Cooperation

Action supported by EU

Overall objective: Contribute to regional partnerships and cooperation towards a common cultural environment where common values and the richness of Europe’s cultural diversity are shared and valued.

Specific Objective: Enhanced relations among regional youth for better sharing of cultural values of different regions in the Black Sea Basin and increased youth education on the core values of the EU.

Beneficiaries: Up to 40 Youth Centers/Clubs (YCs) in the target countries of the region, directly covering more than 2,300 youth from both urban and rural areas of the joint Action partner countries.

The final beneficiaries of the joint Action will be young people aged between 18 – 28 years in the target countries/regions who will receive peer to peer training and have the possibility to build productive relations with youth across Black Sea Basin region. Estimated number of the Action’s final beneficiaries is up to 8,000 young individuals.

Project Partners

The consortium implementing the YARCC project includes the following partners:

Heifer Project International – Armenian Branch Office
Heifer Armenia has given hope and inspiration to its people since it was established in 1999. Since then, it has implemented 58 projects helping more than 8,000 rural families to improve their livelihoods by developing rural communities, finding solutions to economic and ecological problems, spiritual revival, as well as strengthening the prospects of peace in the region.

Varna Economic Development Agency
Varna Economic Development Agency (VEDA) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental association, registered to operate in public benefit. It is located on the territory of Varna District in Bulgaria, East Europe.The agency was established in 1997 under the joint program of Varna Municipality and USAID to assist the advancement of regional economic development. Since 1998 VEDA is a member of the network of the Bulgarian Association of Regional Development Agencies and Business Centers (BARDA).

IDP Women Asociation “Consent”
At first, In 1994, The IDP Women Association “Consent” was established as a group. Organization was registered in the Ministry of Justice In April 1996.
The association has the chairperson, the board, which is a decision maker on strategic issues.
The association also has the advisory council; the advisory council consists from women who lead the groups which are the members of the association.

Gümüşhane Provincial National Education Directorate
Government educational body located in Gumushane, Trabzone.
