Varna Economic Development Agency (VEDA) organizes a Closing Conference for the BSB 136 project „INCREASE TRADING
AND MODERNIZATION OF THE BEEKEEPING AND CONNECTED SECTORS IN THE BLACK SEA BASIN”.
The conference is opened to the local stakeholders and public in general. It aims to present project overall and specific
objectives, obtained results, outputs and deliverables.
The conference will start at 10:00am with welcome addresses to participants by Mr. Laurentius Drasovean from Technopol Galati Association (Romania) – а Project Team Leader, and а presentation of the results achieved in the main areas of the project. A representative of the Bulgarian partner in the ITM BEE-BSB project will make an overview of VEDA activities and its contribution towards project realisation.
Additional presentation on the “Late summer care and wintering of bee families” will be given by the Assoc. Prof. Dr. Plamen Hristov, Institute of Animal Sciences – Kostinbrod. It will be followed by information for the “Opportunities for support of young farmers and small farms in 2021 under the Rural Development Program 2014-2020″, to be presented by Mr. Yuri Zarev, Head of Varna Territorial Office of the National Service for Advice in Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry of Bulgaria .
Beekeepers and representatives of beekeeping associations from the five partner countries Bulgaria, Moldova, Rumania, Turkey and Ukraine will take part in the conference. Simultaneous translation with English is provided.
The conference is a part of the communication activities of the project BSB 136 with an acronym ITM BEE-BSB. The project is co-funded under the JOP” Black Sea Basin 2014-2020“. It is with duration of 28 months.
Participation in the conference is free. Registration will be open from 9:30am.
