The first transnational project meeting under the mAPP my Europe project held in Constanta, Romania on 26 – 29 October, 2018. The meeting passed in a spirit of acquaintance and getting up first impressions of the partners, discussion of issues raised by the individual organizations, harmonization of project understanding and expectations, setting up a time schedule for the forthcoming trainings, discussion on the concepts and ideas of the intellectual outputs. After the end of the agenda’s official part, the project partners took part in a city tour of Constanta to get acquainted with the cultural and historical sights of the city.

mAPP my Europe is a complex 2-year project, implemented by 10 partners from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Spain with the lead partner Association Creative Human Development, Romania. Varna Economic Development Agency is one of the Bulgarian partners along with Regional Historical Museum Dobrich and UnseenPro Ltd. Varna.

Project general objective is to foster youth employability and social inclusion and cohesion through an educational, participatory and intercultural approach to European Cultural Heritage. The specific objectives of this project refer to 1) Raising awareness among youth on the importance of European Cultural Heritage through youth engagement in order to foster its long-lasting preservation, and 2) Giving visibility to European Cultural Heritage by digitizing and innovating youth tourism through international cooperation.
