Seven-day business training took place from 12th to 20th August in Gilwell Park, London, UK. The project called “Business Basics” where VEDA is a partner, was funded by Erasmus+ programme, K1 – Youth Exchange. The host organization and lead partner of the project is One Terrene International (OTI).

This training helps young people to understand the concept of opening a business and looking at all the elements required to do so successfully. The objectives of this youth exchange is to target the huge problem with youth unemployment in the EU and to help young people interested in starting their own business to understand the risks and advantages of starting their own business. By including people who have successfully opened their own business in various countries we allow for greater learning by the participants and also for possible new cooperation and opportunities for youth.

Young people from 10 countries took part in this project including Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Turkey, UK.
